Hello and welcome to the Tales of a Wanna-Be, a private journal about me aka Patji. Please understand that Patji is not my real name but my online alias. In the Korean Cinderella folk tale, Patji is the so called 'evil step-sister.' Rather than being the heroine, I find myself more connected to the misunderstood and neglected step-sister hence the reason why I chose the alias.

I'm a recent college graduate (23) with a degree in English Literature and Art History minor. At the moment I work as a paralegal, but I hope to one day enter the publishing industry as an Editor for genre fiction, specifically, I want to one day work for Random House. And like many people, I like to fancy myself as a wanna-be writer of fantasy and science-fiction (genres of my reading preferences as well). Manga and anime are also things that I enjoy besides reading, writing and drawing. In high school, I was an avid gamer, but since entering university, I've had to cut back on my gaming time. But I still enjoy playing on my Nintendo DS Lite (ACWW, Harvest Moon, Pokemon... etc.)

Currently I am attempting to begin my first web serial novel, though I am still in the writing and editing stages of the first few chapters. The chapters will be posted as they are written once I feel I have good grip on the story. The story will be posted on my main blog, patjissi.net, which is currently under construction. All feedbacks and critiques are welcomed.
